SH2B3 and systemic lupus erythematosus: Variants in SH2B3 have been associated with myeloproliferative neoplasms (Coltro et al., 2019), idiopathic erythrocytosis (McMullin et al., 2011), and autoimmune diseases including SLE (Alcina et al., 2010; Bentham et al., 2015; Morris et al., 2016; Wang et al., 2021), rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (Okada et al., 2014), type 1 diabetes (Steck et al., 2017), and multiple sclerosis (Alcina et al., 2010).
