Three out of the six enteropathy markers (alpha-1-antitrypsin (A1AT) [Fig 3V], neopterin [Fig 3U], and intestinal fatty acid binding protein (I-FABP) [Fig 3W]) normalised to the concentration of adequately nourished controls by 48 weeks post-discharge, with myeloperoxidase [Fig 3X] and GLP2 [Fig 3Y] remaining altered.
