Previous studies have shown that inhibition of some members of the zDHHC family such as zDHHC3, 5, 17, 9, 12 inhibited tumor progression and enhanced the therapeutic efficacy of PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint antibody blockade in CRC, glioblastoma, leukemia, and pancreatic cancer (33, 80, 128, 129). Here, ZDHHC3 is linked to leukemia.
