NFKB1 and rheumatoid arthritis: These three cytokines activate nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB), an important hub of pro-inflammatory gene expression, participate in various inflammatory-related biological pathways, induce a strong immune response in the body, promote the proliferation and differentiation of inflammatory cells, and play a crucial role in the occurrence and development of RA (Hernandez-Rodriguez et al., 2003; Firestein and McInnes, 2017).
