Guidelines from National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and Children’s Oncology Group (COG) recommend survivors with personal (e.g. sarcoma) and/or family history of cancer be referred for genetic testing to implement appropriate surveillance or preventive measures (e.g. breast cancer surveillance or prophylactic mastectomy in women with TP53 or BRCA1/2) [1, 21].
