Multivariate analysis revealed that APS III (HR: 1.005, 95% CI 1.002–1.009, P = 0.004), LODS (HR: 1.030, 95% CI 1.002–1.059, P = 0.037), SAPS II (HR: 1.007, 95% CI 1.002–1.013, P < 0.001), RR (HR: 1.034, 95% CI 1.020–1.049, P < 0.001) and lactate (HR: 1.166, 95% CI 1.139–1.193, P < 0.001) (Table 3) were found to be independent predictors of in-hospital death for patients with SA-ARF. This evidence concerns the gene SKAP2 and acute kidney injury.
