Thus, we first examined LC3B, Beclin1, and SQSTM1 levels in patients with PCOS and found that compared with the normal group, the patients with PCOS showed an increased LC3-II/LC3-I ratio and Beclin1 levels and decreased SQSTM1 levels in GCs (Fig. 3A, B), suggesting that autophagy was activated in the GCs of patients with PCOS.
