Results showed that, except for a lower percentage of double negative T cells (DNT, CD3 + CD4-CD8-) in patients with severe bronchiolitis, there were no significant differences in other markers, including white blood cell count, C-reactive protein, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), compared to the mild-to-moderate group (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and bronchiolitis.
