IL-15 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune conditions such as coeliac disease (CD), type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriasis, multiple sclerosis (MS), vitiligo, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).
