Based on our RNA analysis results, the transcription level of the major inflammation cytokines, such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β, were not significantly changed in ASFV- and ASFV–∆I267L-infected PAMs compared with uninfected PAMs (Supplementary Table S2), which indicated that infections in petri dishes had not induced the PAMs to secrete these cytokines, which was not the same result as infections in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and infection.
