Series of VEGFR-2 inhibitors have recently been approved for the management of numerous cancers such as Sorafenib (I) [14], Lenvatinib (II) [15] and Sunitinib (III) [16] with IC50= 90, 1 and 10 nM, respectively, as well as urea-based heterocycles IV (IC50= 1.5 μM) [17] and V (IC50= 6.2 nM) [18] (Figure 1).
