Not only is it the case that CCA cells lacking ALK fusions exhibited sensitivity to ceritinib, but also siRNA-mediated gene silencing in KKU-M213 and HUCCT1 cells did not impact cell viability or alter the cytotoxic effects of ceritinib when compared to cells treated with negative siRNA control (Figure 1I–L). This evidence concerns the gene ALK and cholangiocarcinoma.
