Both TNF-α and IL-6 were increased in patients with pSS, compared to patients enrolled in the control group (27.82 ± 17.78 vs. 7.80 ± 4.74, p < 0.0001, and 32.68 ± 15.14 vs. 6.79 ± 5.12, p < 0.0001, respectively). Here, TNF is linked to peeling skin syndrome.
