The universal expression of CD30 in Systemic Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (S-ALCL) and the high expression in other subtypes such as Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma-Not Otherwise Specified (PTCL-NOS), angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), and Adult T-cell Leukemia or Lymphoma (ATLL) provides a strong rationale for targeting CD30 in T-cell lymphomas [79,80]. The gene discussed is TNFRSF8; the disease is mature T-cell and NK-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
