We used a real-time transcriptional activity assay known as TRACER (TRanscriptional Activity CELL aRray) to measure the dynamic activity of six transcription factors involved in EMT signaling specific for breast cancer (TWIST1, SNAIL, HIF1a, RUNX1, RUNX2, and NOTCH1) [12,24]. The gene discussed is RUNX2; the disease is breast cancer.
