VEGFA and breast carcinoma: Studies cited that coculturing neutrophils with a highly metastatic (MDA-MB-231) and a weakly metastatic (T47D) BC cell line, or the exposure to their CM, results in the production of oncostatin M, using GM-CSF secreted by breast cancer [53] which in turn increases expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and increases the invasive properties of BC [53].
