A micellar nanoplatform was formed by the self-assembly of the [(DEAMEMA)-c-(BMA)]-b-[(PEGMA300)-c-(peptide)] amphiphile, which is responsive to cathepsin B. The BIM peptide was conjugated to the amphiphile through the FKFL peptide linker, which can be cleaved in the presence of cathepsin B to release BIM specifically in the endolysosome/lysosomes of tumor cells. The gene discussed is CTSB; the disease is neoplasm.
