As can be seen in Figure 4, according to the proposed XGB model, the most clinically relevant parameters contributing to the mortality of COVID-19 hospitalized patients, listed in descending order of relevance, are lymphocytes, urea, FiO2, potassium, serum pH, basophils, active tumors, total bilirubin, temperature, estimated glomerular filtrate (CKD-EPI 2009), alanine aminotransferase (ALT/GPT), dyspnea, and age.
