CNTN2 and schizophrenia: Of the 19 proteins with genetic instruments in both the CSF and brain, three were associated with at least one outcome in one tissue only (brain-derived PPAC with sleep duration, brain-derived C4b with fluid intelligence score and schizophrenia liability, and CSF-derived CNTN2 with schizophrenia liability), four (MSP, ILT-2, GSTP1, and ApoE2) had associations consistent in the brain and CSF (Table 1), and 12 did not associate with any outcome in either tissue.
