We also found no significant difference in CD8 T cell proportions relative to APOE4 carrier status in cases with dementia, but we found a positive trend in APOE4 carriers without dementia that was not statistically significant (dementia: log2FC = 0.07, p-value = 0.69, n = 16 APOE4 carriers and 26 APOE4 non-carriers; cognitively normal: log2FC = 0.74, p-value = 0.07, n = 9 APOE4 carriers and 33 APOE4 non-carriers, Wilcoxon rank-sum test).
