RAF1 and melanoma: In summary, pan-RAF and dimer inhibitor LY3009120, which was initially developed to target BRAF-resistant human melanoma cells, has demonstrated efficacy against KRAS/NRAS-driven and wild-type primary or metastatic equine and canine malignant melanoma cell lines, indicating that LY3009120 has promising potential for further in vitro or even in vivo application in horse and dog melanoma for both its phenotype and mechanism of efficacy as well as drug resistance.
