Interestingly, Alexandrushkina et al. found application of cell sheets from AT-MSCs to be more efficient in the healing of pressure ulcers than injection of suspended MSCs, and this effect was linked to the enhanced paracrine function of the cell sheet, producing more HGF, G-CSF, PDGF-BB and Ang-2 [27].
