The data in Table 2 show that the variables HDL-C, TG, TG/HDL-C, TC/HDL-C, LDL-C/HDL-C, and hyperlipidemia are significantly associated with higher levels of BDNF in AIS patients, while others such as TC, LDL-C, non-HDL-C, glucose, diabetes mellitus, and blood pressure are not significantly associated. This evidence concerns the gene BDNF and androgen insensitivity syndrome.
