GBA1 and Parkinson disease: The enriched pathways, such as actin cytoskeleton organization, vesicle-mediated transport, positive regulation of organelle organization, nervous system development, response to acid chemical, and organelle localization, pointed to significant changes in material-transport pathways between organelles in these two biospecimens, which might be the reason for higher urinary BMP levels in the prodromal than in the PD patients carrying the rs76763715 T/T (GBA1) variant.
