In silico analysis of human lung cancer cohorts was combined with in vitro and in vivo models of DUSP8 and miR-147b overexpression as well as silencing to decipher the interplay between the tumor suppressive potential of DUSP8 and tumor supportive potential of miR-147b in LUAD, offering as new targets for therapeutic intervention. This evidence concerns the gene DUSP8 and lung carcinoma.
