Based on our Hi-C data, we identified chromosome structural alterations caused by structural variations (Table S4), including two well-known genes crucial in the occurrence of pancreatic cancer: SMAD4 and CDKN2A. Correspondingly, SVs have altered the spatial relationships among chromosomes, accompanied by the emergence the neo-loops (Table S5). Here, CDKN2A is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
