As shown in Table 1, there were no statistically significant differences in the distributions of the polymorphisms tested between the patients with unstable angina and the control subjects for LPL rs264 and PDGF rs974819, but for PROCR rs867186, there were significant differences determined by a chi-square test (p = 0.028), though these were not confirmed by a Fisher’s exact test or during allelic analysis, where the differences were not statistically significant.
