MAP3K12 and glaucoma: The dual leucine zipper kinase (DLK) alias mitogen-activated protein 3 kinase 12 (MAP3K12) has gained much attention in recent years due to its involvement in several neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease [1,2,3,4,5,6], and glaucoma [7] (Table 1).
