Figure 1a illustrates a case of newly diagnosed recurrent glioblastoma (IDH1 wild-type, MGMT methylated) on a 6-month surveillance MRI in a 54-year-old man who had undergone gross total resection 6.5 years ago, and completed concurrent radiation and temozolomide followed by six cycles of adjuvant temozolomide. This evidence concerns the gene MGMT and glioblastoma.
