Two ovarian stimulation protocols are equally recommended for patients with endometriosis and a low ovarian reserve and are chosen according to patient characteristics and physician experience—the short GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone) antagonist (short protocol) and long GnRH agonist (long protocol) but also the luteal phase stimulation and the dual stim protocol have gained an increased popularity in this category of patients.
