As depicted in Figure 8A, and our previous published findings (reference: The molecular mechanism underlying dermatomyositis-related interstitial lung disease: evidence from bioinformatic analysis and in vivo validation) it revealed analogous immune infiltration patterns between the two tissues, characterized by the presence of activated CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, Gamma delta T cells, regulatory T cells, T follicular helper cells, and dendritic cells (DC). Here, CD8A is linked to interstitial lung disease.
