An increase in the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 (2.91 ± 1.92 fold change; P < 0.05) and an up-regulation of Foxp3 (1.62 ± 0.63 fold change; P < 0.05) were confirmed in AD-induced mice with L. acidophilus KBL409 administration. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and Alzheimer disease.
