A study reported that STAT1 in 12 tumors was significantly highly expressed, and the STAT1 higher group tended to have longer survival in ovarian cancer, rectal adenocarcinoma, sarcoma and skin melanoma, while the STAT1 lower group tended to have worse survival in kidney cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and pancreatic cancer44. This evidence concerns the gene STAT1 and cutaneous melanoma.
