Consistent with our cell culture data, the expression levels of AGPS and AGPAT3 were increased in gastric epithelial cells harvested from GC patients infected with CagA+ H. pylori compared with those in GC patients infected with CagA- H. pylori or not infected with H. pylori (Fig. 2f, g, and Supplementary Fig. 2a). The gene discussed is AGPAT3; the disease is gastric cancer.
