The results showed that in the TCGA ESCA dataset, compared to the normal group, there was a significant increase in the expression of 16 m6A-related genes in the tumor group, including ALKBH5, FTO, HNRNPA2B1, HNRNPC, IGF2BP1, IGF2BP2, IGF2BP3, METTL3, RBM15, RBMX, VIRMA, WTAP, YTHDC1, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, and YTHDF3 (Figure 7E, p < 0.05). The gene discussed is YTHDF1; the disease is neoplasm.
