Double-expression lymphoma (DEL), which is DLBCL that coexpresses MYC (immunohistochemical threshold ≥ 40%) and BCL2 (immunohistochemical threshold ≥ 50%) proteins as determined via immunohistochemistry (IHC), accounts for 21%–34% of patients with newly diagnosed DLBCL (Herrera et al. 2017; Riedell and Smith 2018). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
