CRP and Alzheimer disease: Abnormal increases in inflammatory markers, including CRP (36.8% [413/1123] vs. 21.6% [384/1777], p < 0.001) and ESR (50.0% [800/1600] vs. 34.4% [872/2537], p < 0.001), as well as abnormalities in GFR (6.1% [6.0% [141/2360] vs. 2.5% [109/4418], p < 0.001), were significantly more frequent in the psoriasis than in the AD group.
