SMARCA4 mutations are found in a variety of malignant tumors, including small cell carcinoma of the ovary, hypercalcemic type (SCCOHT), lung adenocarcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma of the gastrointestinal tract, medulloblastoma, Burkitt lymphoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer and uterine sarcoma (Ramos et al., 2014; Imielinski et al., 2012; Robinson et al., 2012; Love et al., 2012; Kolin et al., 2020; Bai et al., 2013; Muthuswami et al., 2019; Li et al., 2021; Bell et al., 2016; Chang et al., 2022). The gene discussed is SMARCA4; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
