The binding analysis and molecular dynamics simulation have shown that CHEMBL-1240685 which has been assayed as an inhibitor of lipase enzyme in the treatment of pancreatic cancer could be investigated for possible repurposing in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, and our study has shown that CHEMBL-1240685 has a greater binding affinity, ligand interactions, and stability in the binding pocket of ACHE. This evidence concerns the gene ACHE and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
