The expression levels of inflammation-related markers (diamine oxidase, d-lactate, C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-6 and interleukin-1β) were increased, whereas the expression levels of anti-inflammatory factors (interleukin-4 and interleukin-10) were significantly decreased in AP patients as compared to healthy controls. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and alkaline phosphatase measurement.
