INS and Large for gestational age: In multivariate logistic regression analysis, a hemoglobin A1c level of ≥5.7% increased the risk of maternal insulin use (adjusted odds ratio, 6.69; 95% confidence interval, 3.44–12.99), macrosomia (adjusted odds ratio, 7.43; 95% confidence interval, 1.90–29.00), and shoulder dystocia (adjusted odds ratio, 6.56; 95% confidence interval, 1.161–37.03).
