As shown in Table 2, on univariate analysis, a CRP level of ≥0.30 mg/dL (hazard ratio (HR) 3.620, 95% CI 1.098–11.980, P=0.035), CKD presence (HR 3.332, 95% CI 1.113–9.974, P=0.031), and splenomegaly (HR 3.680, 95% CI 1.234–10.970, P=0.019) were extracted as risk factors. Here, CRP is linked to chronic kidney disease.
