CD8A and neoplasm: B. breve exposure can promote the ability of H2-Kb SIY (a model neoantigen, SIYRYYGL) (KbSIY) complex reactive cells to expand, resulting in an increase in CD8+ T cells, a higher affinity response, and greater KbSIY cross-reactivity, with targeted KbSVY (an epitope called SVYRYYGL) therapy being shown to slow tumor progression (43).
