We identified the presence of autoantibodies against 4 human antigens, including Sjögren’s Syndrome-related antigen A/Ro60 kDa (SSA/Ro60), ribosomal P, myeloperoxidase (MPO), and PM/Scl-100, which were significantly elevated in SCD participants when compared to HCs (Figures 1A,B). The gene discussed is RO60; the disease is Schnyder corneal dystrophy.
