An increasing body of evidence has shown that HMGA2 is overexpressed in most tumor tissues or cancers, except for GC, NSCLC, CRC, BC, and esophageal cancer, also including thyroid cancer, bladder cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, tongue cancer, and kidney cancer (104–109) (Table 1). The gene discussed is HMGA2; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
