Elevated BNP (Group 1) was still significantly associated with the occurrence of ACM, CVEs, and heart failure (HR 1.44, 95% CI = 1.07 to 1.94, P = 0.017; HR 1.45, 95% CI = 1.15 to 1.82, P = 0.002; and HR 3.88, 95% CI = 2.13 to 7.10, P<0.001, respectively). Here, NPPB is linked to heart failure.
