Although both the CCK‐8 and clone formation assays confirmed that the knockdown of NR5A2 had a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferative ability of the cSCC cells, the clone formation assay revealed that the cisplatin‐treated cSCC cells showed better clone formation abilities compared to the NR5A2 silencing group, suggesting that NR5A2 silencing may be a more effective strategy than cisplatin treatment in inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells.
