In the presence of competing-risk, we performed univariate analyses using the CIF and Gray’s test, with the results showing that race, marital status, grade of differentiation, summary stage, AJCC stage, surgery of primary site and other site, radiotherapy and chemotherapy status, tumor size, CEA, status of bone metastasis, brain metastasis, liver metastasis, lung metastasis, distant lymph node metastasis, other site metastasis, and neuro invasion exerted significant effects on the prognosis of ATC (P < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and bone metastasis.
