In both AD and CRC, the high TET2 expression group exhibited enrichment in ten pathways associated with inflammatory response and immune regulation, including intestinal immune network for IgA production, antigen processing and presentation, Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation, cell adhesion molecules, Th17 cell differentiation, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway, C-type lectin receptor signaling pathway, sphingolipid signaling pathway, apoptosis, and NF-kappa B signaling pathway (Figure 4A; Figure S1). Here, TET2 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
