The results demonstrated that the low-risk group displayed heightened expression patterns of immune checkpoint genes, including, but not limited to, PD-1 (PDCD1), PD-L1 (CD274), LAG-3, and CTLA-4(Figure 9A, p < 0.05), demonstrating that patients with low-risk CRC could have a more favorable response to ICI treatment. This evidence concerns the gene LAG3 and colorectal carcinoma.
